Ok, I'll admit up until last season I was not that big a fan of Smallville... Just never really got into it, especially when it basically seemed like it was a "monster of the week" type series... But I have to admit that for the last couple of years, and especially during the last season with the introduction of more and more of the actual Superman mythos and more of the real DC characters and especially the ongoing conflict between Clark and Oliver (Green Arrow)Queen about what it means to be a hero and what Clark's legacy is actually going to be, the producers have really stepped up their game... And if the footage that was shown at ComicCon this weekend is any indication, they are going to continue this into the next season...
(Again, as with the Dr. Who End of Time footage, this was surreptitiously shot and is not of the best quality, but it pretty well gets the highlights across... and if better footage shows up, I'll certainly post it...)
(And yes, just in case it wasn't clear, the three words you saw flashed upon the screen there were "Kneel... Before... Zod..." words which will have special resonance for those of us who have fond memories of the second Christopher Reeve Superman movie...)
