...to decide to take off... First we have Sarah Palin apparently vying to become the next president of either the World Wildlife Fund or PETA by comparing herself to a lame duck, a dead fish and a purple moose all in the same speech where she declared herself "not a quitter" as she announced she was quitting her job as Alaska's governor in mid-stream....
Then, of course, there was the tragic death of Steve McNair... Details are still forthcoming, of course, but right now it's looking like a strange sordid mess... But let's not dwell on that for now... instead let's look back on what had to be one of the happiest days of #9's too short life...
of course, there was to be true heartbreak a couple of weeks later, but one thing you had to say about Steve and the teams he led - they NEVER gave up...
